God: necessary?
.
Can I behave ethically and with concern for other people without believing in God?

Our Response

Yes. Ethics and concern for the welfare of other people are biological urges shared by people of all faiths and by atheists.

But we find in scripture a challenge that goes beyond ethics and altruism.
The challenge is to let Christ recreate us completely. Then ethics and concern for other people will have a source that transcends biological urges.
